Grandmaster Trent A. Chontas

     Grand Master Trent A. Chontas started his training in the fall of 1978 at the age of 14 as a member in the U.S. Tang Soo Do Moo Duk Kwan Federation and under the teaching of Grand Master C. S. Kim of Monroeville, PA. Moving to Baton Rouge LA., to attend college, he then continued his training under Grand Master C. S. Kim and his brother Grand Master Randall S. Chontas. Earning his 1st Dan and Instructors Certificate within the International Tang Soo Do Federation he continued his path to becoming a Tang Soo Do Grand Master and school owner.        
     Upon his return to Pittsburgh, PA. Grand Master Chontas continued his training under great Master’s such as GM C. S. Kim, GM Randall Chontas, Master Tony (Tino) Romano, GM Richard Byrne just to name a few.

Grand Master Trent A. Chontas holds instructor certifications from the International Tang Soo Do Federation, American Tang Soo Do Association and Traditional Tang Soo Do Organization.

     Over the years Grand Master Chontas has won many gold metals and 1st place trophies in fighting, breaking and forms competitions.

     Grand Master Chontas is an inductee in two world renowned hall of fame's, Action Magazine Hall of Fame and the World Karate Union Hall of Fame.
